In 2010, the Christmas Party was set on or near the Winter Solstice. In 2011, the Christmas Party was on the last day of November (and used my cartoon/original/anthro/furry/whatever it is style instead of HTF form). Now in 2012, the Christmas party is right at the bulls eye of Christmas. Not only that, this year's Christmas Party is digitally made instead of traditional marker drawings of the previous two years.

As for the party guests, this is the first Christmas Party without Crypty or Wopter. Not only that, this is also Baron's second consecutive Christmas Party, but this time, he's NOT the host. So who's the host? Easy question, it's Ace the black, red, and purple dog, an old character I created nine years ago. This year's Christmas Party depicts the crossover between then and now, the classic 2003-2004 era and the modern era of today. Now let's see the action going on for this year's Christmas Party.

Since it was Ace's party, Ace has made Tyson, his holiday rival, be a "mall Santa". However, he doesn't appear to be liking his job, despite that he LOVES Christmas. His job still isn't over yet because Baron, T-Jay, Alex, and Blasito were still waiting in line for "Santa Claus". Nabby is seen walking away because she already had her turn telling "Santa" what she wanted for Christmas.

Ace, the party host, is sitting on a soft leather couch having some sort of a friendly conversation with Bruno and Shelly, two of the first HTF OCs ever made. Like Ace, both of them were also created in 2003.

As what I say about crossovers, there are "then and now" conversations taking effect, like Nosfy is to Venice whereas Fresko is to Austin. Both of them appearing to have conversations. Venice was trying to show off or impress Nosfy, but he isn't too interested and he may have been kinda annoyed. Fresko and Austin were just chatting in a basically friendly way while Pelty watches over while he's sitting on a soft leather armchair.

Now about the trees, why are there three of them and why are they in separate colors strangely resembling the color palette of an electric stop sign? Trick question. The red tree on the left is supposed to resemble a Bald Cypress tree, a tree that looks evergreen, but is actually deciduous. This is what a Bald Cypress should look like in the fall, turning red at that season. The tree on the middle resembles a Larch tree, another deciduous evergreen-looking conifer, but turns yellow in the Autumn. The tree on the right is what a normal evergreen tree should look like, even Christmas Trees, so this is perhaps a normal Christmas Tree to be in fact.

More details include a red plush carpet, a purple wall, a border between the floor and wall that is made out of rose ebony, and a picture of Ace himself with a shiny ebony frame. The finishing touches are the shining bright stars that suppose to match their respective tree colors.

Man, this took me days to complete this group picture. Anyway, I hope you will all enjoy it, and have a marry Christmas and a happy new year.

hehe happy tree friends. Very nice sticking to the shows style. The fact you got to fit so many characters on one work is very well thought out. Good job, it doesn't look to busy or crowded you use a good amount of space to show each character.

Suggestions:
Your characters in the back seem to just be standing like robots, they don't show movement or personality like the others. If you show it for a couple you should also do it for the rest to create flow in the piece.

Thank you very much.

Actually, that was because they were standing in line to go see "Santa Claus".

Even so. You can maybe make one seem impatient or another seem really excited to see Santa. The way they look, creates a monotone which can take away from the piece.

Hehe, it's amazing my character is still recognized within the HTF fandom after so many years, and long after I stopped being an active participant. Thanks for including him, you did a good job with this piece!

Yeah, I know, some notable HTF OCs can still be vaguely recognized after a long time after they left the fanbase.

You're welcome, and thank you for the appreciation.
